Alex recently displayed his art in a show in Salem, Massachusetts for a fundraiser for his art teacher's church. There were many requests for prints of his work that I decided it was time to make prints of his work available for others to enjoy. His originals are priceless to us but we'd like to share prints of his work with those who are touched by it.
From an early age, it was apparent Alex was gifted in many ways and one being his creativity and artistic talent. He began taking private art lessons at age 8 with a wonderful art teacher who would come to our house weekly and work with him. She's an amazing art teacher and in addition, she's also a special education teacher who truly guided Alex in the most nurturing way so his artistic talent could shine for all of us to enjoy. Alex is on the autism spectrum and like so many kids with this diagnosis their gifts need so much love and guidance and lots of hard work for them to be shared and understood with the world. As his mother, I'm not sure if I enjoy looking at his artwork as much as watching him blossom with Brittany and the pride in his face when he's ask me to hold his final piece a few feet away for him to approve. We hope you enjoy as much!
Alex is currently 12 and a successful High Honor Roll student in 7th grade.
