Portrait art is my passion.
I have loved drawing for as far back as I can remember holding a pencil, continued drawing into young adulthood taking art classes at the Center for Creative Studies and participating in art shows, including an exhibit at The African-American Museum of Detroit. Life's responsibilities pushed creating art further down on my priority list. I promised myself that one day I would again embrace creating as an important part in my life.
A few years ago it became time to put creating art on the priority list again and, in late 2010, I picked up my decades old set of soft pastels and have been happily creating and growing ever since. I am very appreciative of all the support and sales I have received over the years.
