Amira Whitfield is from Philadelphia, PA. and is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and The University of the Arts for print design. As a child she watched her father paint as his canvas came to life with vibrant color. There was no doubt in her mind that she too wanted to be a painter. Through children of her own, Amira has grown as an artist and has learned to be more creative and imaginative. She works in oils, watercolors and acrylics.
