Andrés Briganti was born in the City of Guayama, Puerto Rico. As a teenager Andrés was fascinated with the arts. Therefore, he dedicated himself to study fine arts. Photography was his passion and his main body of work is open to everything he sees through his viewfinder. I came to Chicago in 1984 to study Arts at Northeastern Illinois University. I graduate from Robert Morris College in 2001 with the Degree of Associate in Applied Science with A Major in Graphic Arts. Also Graduate from Harrington College of Design in 2009 with the Degree of Associate in Applied Science with A Major in Digital Photography. I have been doing freelance photography in Chicago for Non-profit organizations in the Latino Community Like Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center, Latin United Community Housing (LUCHA). I am currently working with the City of Chicago. I am also a great Salsa Dancer, and a very spiritual person. I like to shoot in general. But I love shooting peoples portraits; it is a great satisfaction for me to work with people. Finally I love and admire beautiful architectures.
