Andria Alex is a prominent expressionist painter in Connecticut. She works in many mediums, mainly acrylic and oils. She is a professional Scenic Artist painting sets for various regional Connecticut theaters, and has been the Charge Scenic Artist at TheaterWorks Hartford since 2006. Andria graduated with a BFA from Central Connecticut State University, and studied at the Art Students League of New York. Andria creates commissioned works and her art can be found in many personal collections. Aside from painting sets, murals, and interior homes, Andria exhibits fine art on a regular basis. Andria is the current President of the East Haddam Art League, and one of the founding members.
