Artist Specialties:
Angela was born in Japan on February 1, 1983. Her father is a French American and her mother is Japanese.
Angie's love for art started at a very young age; her childhood was filled with drawings of animals and cartoon characters.
At the young age of 15, she discovered that she had an enormous talent for portraiture and has been in love with it ever since.
Being the third oldest in a family of 11 children, each one had their own way of making ends meet. So along with her younger sister, Angela sold her small paintings on pieces of wood at the corner of a busy street in downtown Osaka.
At the age of 16, she moved to Tokyo where she made a small living sketching detailed portraits and caricatures in Harajuku (a popular spot where artists and musicians perform).
Angie moved to Dallas, Texas in 2001. Pursuing her passion for art through the field of make-up, she began working at salons and photo shoots as a freelance make-up artist. In her spare time, she worked on commissioned artwork for select clients.
In 2006, Angela began taking oil painting lessons from Dale Bedford, a professional artist, at the Creative Art Center in Bohnam, Texas.
Angie is currently pursuing a career as a painter, portrait artist and muralist.
