I am moved and inspired landscapes, nature, people, color and all of God's creation. There is so much beauty and diversity in God's creation, but I never really appreciated any of it with any depth until I started to paint. I find the desire to create paintings and works of art at the top of my list of my great privileges. My husband and I have always shrived to help our sons find their gifts and talents. Interesting enough, that is what has moved me to search for my own gifts. Both of my sons introduced me to the world of art while they were growing up. My oldest son loves music, surfing, origami and has to draw on just about every paper that is ever in front of him. He loves the beauty of the world around him without reservation. It was however my youngest son who actually brought me to the art studio. From the start we noticed he was an artist. We would find his art everywhere and wanted for him to have the opportunity to develop it. He never misses the tiniest of details. I am thankful for that, for if it were not for him I might never haven't taken a closer look. He is the one who asked me to give painting a try. It would be remiss of me not to mention that without my husband's blessing and encouragement, none of this would have been possible.
For years both my son and I been been blessed to take art lessons from Master Artist 'Peter Olsen' who is known for his impressive and extensive works on all verses in Revelation in the Bible. He is an awesome teacher and pours his love for art and God into all of his students. His love for both is inspiring. Art has opened up a whole new world for me. It has given me new eyes with which to see everything around me and I thank God everyday for such a blessing.
