Since my childhood, I have had a passion for jewelry and the beauty it exudes. It started with jewelry that belonged to my mother, which basically was designed and handcrafted in MIlano, Italy, in the late 40's and '50's. My father, over years, purchased the pieces while in Milan on business, at the LaScala Opera House.
The designer and jeweler was a regular for many of the famous operatic stars of the era.
I was always dazzled, even at an early age, by the settings, gold and sparkling stones of the bracelets, rings, earrings and necklaces. After many successful years in the academic world, it was time to begin my journey into the world of creating my own timeless pieces of jewelry. I have been designing mostly necklaces, and I relish the days when I can just focus on creating earrings & bracelets. With the stones sparkling infront of me, I can visualize the artistic work that I want to create...it takes imagination and the beauty of stones for me to realize the end product.
