Art Affair Gallery

Art Affair Gallery is dedicated to the presentation and promotion of contemporary visual art. The gallery provides opportunities for both emerging and established artists to exhibit their work within its vision of current national and international trends from varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds. The gallery welcomes all viewpoints and visual media for its exhibition schedule.

Art Affair welcomes artists who work in all traditional and new media to participate in regularly scheduled monthly shows and events. ART AFFAIR’s mission is to provide open and varied opportunities for artists to become active members in the local and national arts community through its exhibition schedule.

The gallery is located in the historic City of Sanford, which is a vibrant and publicized art and entertainment center in Central Florida. The culturally rich and diverse community boasts art galleries, live music venues, restaurants, clubs, antique shops, museum, and lakefront attractions. It is well-known for its Alive at Five street party on the second Thursday of each month, as well as its open-air concerts, open mikes for local talent, and wine tasting parties.

The City of Sanford has an active and dedicated Chamber of Commerce that promotes events year round. They have a publicly accessible calendar on the internet that is keep current and includes all activities that are taking place in the community. This calendar is accessed at www.sanfordfl.gov featuring its regularly scheduled events including The Farmers’ Market every Saturday morning on Magnolia Square, Celebrating the Arts on 4th Fridays, Cinema in the Park every 3rd Friday of the month from March through October, and Jazzed on the first Saturday late afternoon of the month in Magnolia Square.

The gallery was founded with the belief that artists have an intrinsic need to show their work to a broad range of collectors and the general public alike, giving them the opportunity to successfully place their works in businesses, homes and in collections locally and nationally.

Art Affair Gallery is primarily a contemporary art gallery, with represention of artists in painting, sculpture, ceramics, glassworks as well as fair trade arts/crafts, jewelry anad gift items.
