Contemperary landscapes done in oils and pastels. Watercolor and pastel scenes of local and western sites. European locations based in Italy and British Isles.
Many landscapes are done exclusively with palette knife.
Works on canvas and board. All painting are framed or matted and framed but can be purchased without frames.
The artist works in Plein Aire and in the studio, using an Alla Prima technique which produces a painting in one session.
Local showings have been in Lambertville, Flemington, and Clinton in 2007.
Studio located in Pittstown, NJ.
Largely self taught, the artist has studied with Bogomir Bogdanovic of Warwick, NY and Ty Hodanish, Stockton, NJ
Impressionist style incorporating the Cape Cod School of painting.
Current photographs of nature: flowers, landscapes, macros, animals and items of interest.
