Barbara Pelizzoli is an award winning all-media artist.
She was born in a tiny village in the north of Italy named Chiuduno in the Bergamo Province. Her parents were craftsmen themselves and carefully nurtured Barbara’s interest in the arts.
In this small village it quickly became obvious through her numerous accomplishments that Barbara was exceedingly interested in being an artist. As soon as she could hold a pencil steadily in her left hand, she began drawing.
As early as age 7 she was able to depict her subjects with accuracy which stunned not only her teachers but also her fellow students and parents.
As she grew older she moved into multiple mediums. At age 11 her watercolor representation of the town’s church was chosen out of all the other children’s drawings to be published on the cover of the church magazine.
In high school she was the artist for the Student’s magazine. She is now entering the field of illustrations beside fine arts.
