okay here goes folks.....
I'm a self taught artist. I've been drawing or painting ever since I could hold a pencil. I've been doing this for 50 years now.
It's my passion, and it's an obsession as well.
I simply live for art and creating.
I'm well versed in many mediums such as oils, watercolours, acrylics, pen and ink ( pointillism ) pencil,
Last year I entered the digital world with a wacom tablet and pen and this fast became a tool of choice for me for many reasons.
I'm disabled due to some car accidents and spinal surgeries and the wacom gives me the freedom to create my art virtually anywhere.
Among the many traditional pieces I do and have done I'm currently exploring and delving into the world of digital art creating my own designs, characters, and abstract art.
I use Paint Shop Pro and Corel X for all of my digital work.
My traditional abstracts are done in acrylics and I have developed my own technique for them as well....now numbering well over50 pieces.
I have sold a few pieces here and there over the years, but certainly not enough to make a living out of it
I do commission works.
You could say I eat, sleep, and breath art...it is my life.
Aside from that aspect of my life I'm also interested in writing and have several writing projects that I'm working on as well.
I went to high school, but dropped out early.
Being disabled has an advantage and that is it allows me to create on a full time basis.
