I live in Kerrville, Texas, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country where I photograph nature with a creative and inspired approach. Here, the broad expanse of sky and western landscapes punctuated by details of varying subjects draw me in to explore natural abstractions.
Previously I lived in and photographed across Northwestern Ontario and northern Minnesota for over 30 years. After retiring from a career in education, I pursued interests as a nature photographer and outdoor writer living in Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada.
The spirit of nature presented through abstract impressionism is an important element of my current photographic image making along with a wide array of macro subjects.
I am an active member of NANPA, the North American Nature Photographers Association, and a past member of the Outdoor Writers of Canada, and the Outdoor Writers Association of America. For more information see my personal website.
