After many years working as a textile designer in New York City designing fabrics for women's, men's and infant clothing, she moved to Connecticut and concentrated more earnestly on watercolor painting and dabbling in other media like collage, scraperboard, ink, pencil, pastel, and oil. No matter the medium, she loves to depict the element of light in her work through color and contrast. Without that element, the 'spark' is often illusive. Favorite motifs are almost always derived from nature, and that provides endless inspiration.
