Brien got serious about his art late in life. After reconnecting with a long time friend and now wife, Katrina had asked what was it you always wanted to do but never pursued? Brien responded that as a child he had dreams of becoming an artist. With that, Katrina had him watch the 'Bucket List.' Soon thereafter Brien and Katrina started a list of things they always wanted to do. On the top of that list was to do an art exhibit. A year after that discussion, Brien had amassed a collection of his works to fill a small gallery. Katrina prodded him along to show his works to others and in September 2012 they created a Facebook Page that immediately gained a small following of nearly 8000 fans which to date has grown to over 13K followers. Those were not the result of slick or paid advertisements, they were genuine followers who appreciated his works. A month later a web site was put together. Katrina, helped build the business even further by entering Brien into a couple of art exhibits where 19 paintings were sold at his first art show. Recently Brien's works have been featured in four movies, the Warner Brothers movie 'Father Figures' and Hallmarks Premiere 'Fun and Love in the Sun, A Taste of Love, South Beach Love as well as several commercials. Brien's Artwork made it all the way to the 2019 World Series YouTube commercial with Buzz Aldrin's moon landing.
To describe Brien's style it would be one of bright colors leaving the admirer with a smile. Brien's passion is in his belief that we are all connected in some way, in saying that his desire is to share his love of people through his art.
