I consider myself primarily an illustrator. I never quite fit in with others, so I grew up isolated and found much of my comfort in movies, comic books, music, and books. My artistic influences include fantasy illustrators from the 'Brandywine' school of Howard Pyle to the best comic book artists of today. I get my inspiration from such widely diverse sources as the absurd, music, classic movies, myth, pin-up, fantasy literature, and my Catholic sensibilities.
I just started a new project on Kickstarter.com as well which I hope will be a respectful tribute to the human form. It is restricted however to women over the age of 35 as I feared that if open to men or younger women, that varying maturity levels might mean that I'd get orders for things more explicit than I generally like to do. However, do check it out. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/521083869/women-over-35-nude
More than willing to do commissions, I am adept at portraiture of people and pets, landscapes, painting buildings and other such standard fare. It is with greater pleasure that I use portraiture or landscape as a jumping off point for creating something more unique for a client according to the client's interests.
I am willing to do nudes of adult females and males. I love the lines. For religious works, the nude should depict either original innocence, souls in torment, or be appropriate to expressing Biblical narratives such as the crucifixion. For non-religious art, it is a case by case basis. It should not depict any direct sexual content and should not be either erotic or pornographic.
