Well, there's three things I've been in love with since I left my childhood behind... nature and its' wildness, the female form, and photography. Initially, I used to draw my subjects, both human and nature, but the process was tiresome, even though the reward was great. At some point, I realized that photography could capture the subject much faster, easier, and with more diversity. I still love to draw, love the rush of a finished portrait or scene, but photography with all it's creative nuances has pretty much taken over!
The three strongest influences that helped me form my photographic style are Playboy, Japanese idol photobooks, and David Hamilton. These have left an indelible impression on me, and I find such beauty in their imagery, such artistic sensuousness, that it holds significant sway whenever I am setting a scene, forming a shot, posing a subject.
It is my hope that you will see beauty in these images, as I have seen it in their creation.
