Nature's beauty is awe inspiring, but quite frequently a challenge to capture. It takes great patience, patience, patience.
I feel strongly that I can play a lifelong role in bringing joy and happiness to those who want to view nature at its best through my photographic art.
I grew up in Wisconsin on a diary farm developing a bond with nature that has only grown stronger over the years.
As an adult, I spent 27 years as a Radiologic Technologist, taking black & white pictures of the human body in the form of x-rays. I developed such excellence
in my techniques that seldom was a repeat x-ray needed.
After retiring from the medical field in 2003 I became interested in digital photography and found my years in radiology had provided a stepping stone to a new career.
I have been told by experts in the field that I have an excellent photographic eye.
Membership in the Mountain Artists of Woodland Park, CO, has been a great way to gain knowledge and show and sell my art in the surrounding area.
It has been rewarding to receive awards for some of my photographic presentations.
May the dawn of each unspoiled day inspire us all to see the beauty in our surroundings bringing peace and tranquility to all.
