Carole was born from generational artists, raised in North Alabama and is a graduate of Auburn University. For over twenty -three years, she has worked as a full-time professional artist in painting, photography and art instruction in Huntsville, Alabama.
This year Alabama Public TV featured Carole in its Alabama Art Seen along with other notable artists. In 2013 Carole was invited to speak at the nation's Capitol in Washington D.C. for the Congressional Art Competition.
She is a Southern Living Magazine featured artist (October 2008) and
was chosen as poster artist for many events over the years including Huntsville's Panoply of the Arts art festival and Liz Hurley's Breast Cancer Run.
Carole has also graced the cover of several magazines, being in front of the camera as well as behind it shooting both her lifestyle portrait work as well as commercial work.
Her paintings are shown in galleries, commissioned and collected nationwide, subjects of figures, cityscapes and architecture. Carole says she paints life--things that inspire passion, love and spirit. Said of her commissioned house portraits, 'they seem to bend under the weight of history or explode outwards with the joy of occupancy,' as quoted recently by Curt Benzle about Carole's signature style in Huntsville's Downtown Living Magazine.
With her identical twin sister, Chicago artist Claire Kayser, the twins host students on art journeys in Italy each September, painting and photographing the light, landscape and people of Tuscany.
