I am an artist currently living and working from the beautiful Smiths Lake on the New South Wales Mid North Coast. My practice concentrates on sculpture, drawings on board and paper and dark room photography.
I have studied extensively with major Sydney art schools under prominent artists Madeline Halliday, Ian Shaw and Stephen Westly Gordon, and in rural New South Wales.
My work is focused on the human figure. In 1992 I was a selected finalist in the Wynne Prize for sculpture conducted by the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Also in 1992 I won First Prize for Sculpture in the Hunters Hill Art Show.
My recent photography has primarily been on people in ballet schools and a major ongoing work is a book of collective photographs titled 'Local Kids in Ballet'. Currently I am enjoying working on a larger body of works in drawing and photography under glass, and sculpture.
Over the years I have had sales in Australia, New York, California, London and Paris mainly through private commissions.
