Born in Saskatchewan, Catherine grew up in Kingston, Ontario. She started drawing at a very early age, and after high school planned on a career in art, but got side tracked into accounting and business! After raising a family and running retail stores for many years, she has rediscovered her passion for painting and is now, like many artists, consumed by it. Painting full-time has become both a compulsion and a joy at the same time. Bright, bold colours, somewhat of an impressionistic style and story-telling, are all hallmarks of Catherine's paintings.
