Hi, my name is Charlotte Phillips ...thank you for stopping by my website.
I was born in Alabama where I now live with my loving husband of 30 years, my two sweet daughters, and precocious family dog, Jewelz.
I found my creative voice late in life. After years of teaching school, taking care of my family, and raising my two daughters, I began to explore my inward spiritual journey so that I could reconnect with my spirit on a deeper and more intimate level. My journey led me to my creative voice, which encouraged me to come out of my shell to play. So I signed up for a local art class to learn how to draw portraits. After one year, I decided to explore color, so I started painting abstracts using acrylics. Later, I gained enough confidence to start painting my favorite subject, angels. My passion for understanding and loving angels began as a small child. As long as I can remember I have always been inspired by the unconditional love and guidence these spiritual beings offer.
I choose to visualize angels in the human form so that I can connect on a personal level and to show how we can each be an Earth Angel when we share unconditional love. Right now I am inspired to paint a series of angels which represent cultures around the world. Each angels is giving a message of hope or a lesson to be learned. I hope to create images that inspire the spirit and touch the heart, for I believe that each of us can be an Earth Angel.
