Nature is art at its finest. After all, it has an almighty creator who changes the sunset every evening and gives variety to a country scene with the changing seasons.
The contrast in nature is exciting to the viewer who takes the time to notice. Mountains are seen covered with glorious autumn colors one season and blanketed with snow the next often giving the appearance of being sprinkled with powdered sugar on evergreen branches. Shorelines are amassed with colorful sun umbrellas protecting beach-lovers from the blazing heat of a mid summerís day and then floating with gigantic soft-blue colored icebergs the following season. Life doesnít get any better.
Color, form, texture and line intrigue me and I see them everywhere. It is often amidst a peaceful shady forest floor within newly spring ferns emerging out of the warm spring earth after a long winterís sleep or bare brown branches surrounded in a monochromatic setting reaching for the sun and waiting for spring to arrive. I never tire seeing soft velvety petals of a sweet smelling rose in my garden. Looking deeply into the center of a flower with a macro lens and seeing its intricacy is a special treat of mine.
Striving to capture natureís beauty is a daily objective. Itís always in the back of my mind. I am constantly learning and looking to perfect my craft with each composition.
Every day I am honored to live on this earth and every scene I capture is a gift from God. Each image is a testament that God is indeed the alpha and omega, the creator of all things good and beautiful. My hope is that you see God in every one of my images.
