When I was living in Tucson, AZ it was discovered, during a routine physical, that I had had a heart attack. Following my shock and a myriad of tests, I was on the operating table for an angiogram. However, due to the amount of blockage in one of my main arteries and the short amount of time I had been under this doctor's care, it was decided not to try to insert a stent. There was a possible risk of dislodging a piece of that clot - which could prove fatal later. But, there was a miracle taking place, my heart was trying to heal itself! My secondary artery had actually grown longer, feeding the damaged side of my heart! Wow, I had been given a Second Chance.
I moved back to Colorado, took up photography at age 60. Life truly does begin at 60! All images here have been taken since that time. I am truly loving my new passion for life and for photography. I wander the Rocky Mountains almost every weekend - hiking, exploring, meditating and just enjoying life.
