I am a full time potter and produce usable art. Our kiln is a cone ten gas reduction fire breathing dragon. It takes our clay creations and turns them into beautiful one of kind gifts for the exceptional art buyer. I sell to buyers all over the United States on the internet, at art and fine craft shows in the midwest and the east coast. I love South Carolina.
I have been a painter before I became a potter. And of course what artist doesn't imagine theirselves to be a photographer. I have worked for a professional photolab as a finisher doing artwork on photographs. I studied in several colleges and universities as I moved around and received my art education degree from Wichita State University. At WSU I took a painting class from Ron Christ and Aesthetic Inquiry from painter, Jim Bartz. At Missouri Southern State University, I studied with Darrel Dishman, Nathaniel Cole, and Jon Fowler. I fondly remember each one that I mentioned.
My husband and I struck out at the pottery business on our own tenacity and sticktoitness. I am thankful for husband who has believed in me all the while he has worked every bit as hard as I have to build this business and make it live and breathe. We have opperated the pottery in Lincoln, Ne, Branson, MO and Joplin, MO.
