I work in many different mediums, and as my art and expression has developed over the years i find that to move from oil on canvas to water on paper and oilbar on paper has given me the ability to learn and grow . One may find therefore that i have a series of oil on canvas relating to a certain subject or perhaps a series devoted to oilbar on paper, or a watercolor series devoted to landscape in Italy. Regardless of the medium i would hope that my work stands together in an evolutionary process. I was born in England and this certainly influenced the art and artists that i look back to, from Turner to Hockney. I currently reside in Miami and there is no doubt that the clouds,ocean and clarity of light is present in many of my works. I am fortunate to travel alot, back to Europe to visit family, or to India where i continue to build upon my yoga teaching experience. My art is profoundly influenced and enriched by these experiences and colored by the people, landscape and memory of these experiences within me.
