Watercolor painting came into my life when I needed to find “a peaceful place” inside myself. In painting I have found a harbor where I can rest my worries and feel productive, rejuvenated and truly at peace.
My style is extemporaneous “impromptu”, surreal, abstract, impressionistic, wet in wet and experimental. My art is inspired from memories, imagination, sometimes photos and once in a while I do plein air painting when we go to our quiet vacation spots. My commission work is a collaboration of “spirit”. I ask for the favorite colors & music of the person I’m painting for, and use these as my inspiration when creating their personalized piece of art.
My enduring hope and endeavor is to share something unique and joyful with the world and to remain open and welcoming to every new experience.
Thank you to my loving husband John, our feline “kids”, my family & faithful friends for supporting me on this journey.
