I am a life long fan of photography. I've studied art at the University of Pittsburgh but most all of my training is self taught. Most art is great when it creates a personal relationship with the viewer. The relationship can be commonly felt across a broad range of people...or almost meant for just a few people that feel the bond between the piece and themselves.
My photography has tried to bridge that gap with not only the viewer but also with myself.
My photography has appeared in:
The Royal Academy of Arts in London, Philadelphia City Paper, Pennsylvania Magazine,
NabeWise.com, Moon Handbook Philadelphia, Lake and Boating Magazine,
SHS Publishing, Philly AIDS Thrift, GQ Magazine On Line,
The Free Library of Philadelphia
I was one of three featured artist by the Philadelphia Bulletin's on-line edition showcasing local photographers in Philadelphia.
As well as being a contributing member to Getty Images.
It's very easy to pick up the camera and shoot...with no thought or plan. There's some happy accidents in this. Most of it, though, is not very good. However, tuning into a feeling and translating that feeling into a photo is magic.
I hope you share in some of the magic I try to achieve in my photography.
