'Hello and thank you for visiting my site! There's art and there's the artist. I see no difference between the two. They are in fact 'one.' To me, art is simply the expression of the artist and his or her way of seeing things (as in photography) for that moment. That moment will never be again. From 'my perspective', art is simply a manifestation of what is inside a person. The good, the bad or the ugly. I do believe that art is in the eye of the beholder. Yet at the same time, it is in the power of the creator of that very art. My philosophy is this, 'One cannot ultimately appreciate a 'creation' without ultimately appreciating 'The Creator' and who He chooses to work through. Our heavenly Father is an artist! Genesis 1:1 states 'in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth......' I do know that even when He created us as people, there are no two alike. We are all originals. A masterpiece if you will. Being an Evangelist of the 'good news' of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I choose to take full advantage of the gift and talent that He has bestowed upon me (no man taught me the things I know pertaining to art) to not only show my appreciation for Him, but to share with the world a portion of what He shows to me and allows me to see through my eyes (natural as well as spiritual) as an extension of Him and who He is while I have the opportunity to do so. I have been active in art as far back as I can remember from maybe 1 (one) year old. Much of my artwork (paintings and sculpture) are inspired by the Holy Spirit and scripture. I do paint portraiture, ladscapes and still life upon demand for commission. My desire is to take people to a place that many never dare to allow themselves to go which is past what they see in the mirror. I pray that as you create, look at what you are doing as a masterpiece and vow to make it the greatest that it could ever be. May the Lord bless you in your artistic and creative endeavors and do visit again soon.'
