I began painting seriously after retiring from teaching.
I currently exhibit abstracts, but my roots are in landscape painting. I tend to float between the two.
I work mainly in acrylics but often include other media.
I am told that it is my choice of color and personal symbolism that defines me. The color is influenced
by living in various areas of the Northeast, Mexico, and the Northwest. Mexico made the deepest impression on me
and has affected my color for thirty years. The symbolism is from life itself.
I currently exhibit in galleries in Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia,WA and Portland, OR.
