Dan Townsend's Palm fish idea came about because of his interest in the environment, about sixteen years ago.
His fish are made from palm fronds and paper mache' which makes them so unusual and fun.
Dan grew up around the ocean, and that along with nature, became his inspiration, here is something that can be recycled and turned into art.
His work has been seen in TV series, a multitude of restaurants, Sea World, County Fairs and sold to many people around the world in gallery's and at many art shows.
You now can see his work at a Gallery in Solana beach ,California, 7 days a week.
Its called The Leaping Lotus which I think is really appropriate.
