Born in Canton, China during the peek of Cultural Revolution in 1960s, I fortunately came to USA as an immigrant with my family in late 70s. I first got my art and photography training at High School of Art and Design. Later I studied commercial photography and graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. I started to practice fine-art and photography during the school year and continued after graduation as my heart calls for. Naturally, nature and landscape become my favor subjects. I spent a lot of time to travel and explore, and hiked hundreds, perhaps thousands of miles with my heavy photo equipments in the wilderness in order to capture its beauty at its magic moment. I totally enjoyed every moment in the nature. Lately, I also exploring art as a hobby. And I am having fun with it.
