I started drawing at a very young age and was fortunate to find a mentor who worked with me all through the most impressionable years. I earned a BA in Art from Elmira College in Elmira, NY. I have always found myself fascinated with the way things appear in different lights, and in color versus black and white. The world is beautiful and I strive to recreate it on paper or canvas. I enjoy the process behind each piece, especially studying my surroundings to find the next subject.
