Daria Yesieva-Kartsinski is local Santa Fe artist, working mostly with oil and acrylic paintings since 1996, when she immigrated from Russia with her family. Daria graduated from Moscow University Of Graphic Arts in 1982 with Masters in Book Illustration and Graphic Arts. She started painting in 1996 in Flagstaff, Arizona, and was participating in numerous art shows all over the Country, winning prizes and selling her paintings in US since 1998. After 2000 Daria lives and works in Santa Fe, NM.
Daria Yesieva-Kartsinski used to manage a Co-op art gallery in Santa Fe on Canyon Road from 2002 till 2004, when economy start fall affecting art sales to the point, when artists start leaving Santa Fe, because of increasing prices on real estate and decreasing art sales.
Since 2004 she sells her artwork at different art shows, through the Internet, and at private art openings at her studio in Santa Fe. Her collectors are from all over US, France, Cuba, Spain, St.Petersburg, Moscow and Vladikavkaz, Russia, where she established herself as an art editor at her own publishing business 'Estamp' before immigrating into United States.
Daria is making living mostly on art sales of miniature images of Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico, which are very popular, affordable, and profitable on the market. She is also an abstract painter, who belongs to recent Santa Fe art movement SCAPISM, which is short for ESCAPISM, which is currently expanding up to 150 fine artists in small town Santa Fe, which is well-known as the 3-rd capital of Fine Art in America.
