Bay Area figurative painter Darren Kerr is captivate by the communal spirit of AT&T Park, the fans donning SF Giants caps and jerseys, and the great team of likeable characters who happen to play World Series Championship caliber baseball. Darren finds no experience quite like shirking work with his hoops buddies for a day game at the park - the walk around the arcade to view the Bay and get Crazy Crab sammies and garlic fries, high fives and spilt $10 beers, perhaps a sunburn, and a sleepy CalTrain ride home.
In September and October of 2012, Darren shot hundreds of photo references of the team from just beside the Giants dugout, which he used to paint images that best capture for him the spirit of the moment as he remembers it. Flash forward two years and it happened again! Darren is working paintings of all the 2014 Giants. Small originals are available.
