These days I use digital cameras; though I still have many of the film cameras I've used over the years (nicely displayed in a glass cabinet). I postprocess every image to some extent; I am not shy about heavy digital processing to get where an image wants to take me.
Many people have influenced the way I make pictures. Some of the most influential were not photographers or artists; they were people who simply made me show some moxie in my work. 'Taking pretty pictures of pretty things is not art, not craft and it's been done to death many times over.' . . . . 'Put your pictures on the table and live with the fallout.'
