Dave Olsen

In April 1975, Dave Olsen's first cartoon was published in the Daily Times Chronicle in Woburn, Massachusetts. At the time Dave was a junior at Woburn High School, in Woburn, MA. This was the beginning to his career in art.

His creations including, cartoons, illustrations and championships posters have appeared in daily and weekly newspapers throughout New England as well as across the United States for the past consecutive 35 years. Being an artist in Massachusetts has given him exposure in such newspapers as: The Boston Herald, Boston Globe, Lawrence Eagle Tribune, Providence Journal and The Daily Times Chronicle, Woburn, Ma. Gaming Today, Las Vegas, NV. His commitment to his craft as well as to the New England area has also earned him due recognition; winning 5 New England Press Awards.He has also won Massachusetts Press awards for Best Cartoons.
In 2008 His Boston Celtics Championship Team Illustration was voted as the Best Newspaper Illustration (1st place) of the year, used by any Daily Newspaper in New England by The New England Press Assoc. It was awarded in February 2009.

An avid sports fan, it was only natural that Dave Olsen's artwork would often reflect his passion for sports; he has worked for both professional teams and athletes.

Hockey: NHL Teams include the Boston Bruins, Tampa Bay Lightning and the Montreal Canadiens.

Basketball : NBA Teams include the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns as well as the NBA Hoop Magazine.

Baseball: MLB Teams include the Boston Red Sox, Florida Marlins as well as NESN Red Sox Television Network.

Soccer: World Cup Promotions and the Spanish Television Network.

Wrestling: WWE Stars Hulk Hogan, Stacy Kibler, Trish Stratus, Victoria, Kurt Angle, Tripe H, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Leta.
