David is both a painter and fine art photographer who, often times, combines tradition methods of painting with digital photo composition to create unique and thought provoking images. He works in oils, acrylic, airbrush and pastels and offers many of his pieces as limited edition giclée prints.
Mr. Clark gets his inspiration from the people, textural and scenic images from the many fascinating places he has visited around the world. “I always try to produce something a little different every time I start the creative process.”
David graduated college in 1975 with a degree in Commercial Art and Illustration and began his career working as an art director within the offset printing and corporate industries. He established DRC Advertising, an advertising design firm in 1980 which has serviced clients such as Branson Ultrasonics, Ciba-Geigy, First Brands, Boehringer-Ingelheim, Union Carbide, G.E. Capital, and Chase Manhattan Bank. He formed DRC Publishing, which specialized in fine art publishing services. In 2008 his company joined forces with another CT firm to form Visual Impact, where he is currently vice president and creative director. His work can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the U.S. and in Europe.
