I painted my first Oil Painting at the age of 10, under the guidance of my artist/mother. I was hooked. And even though that was over 40 years ago, I am still creating art . . . although as my self-portrait demonstrates . . . I am still incomplete! But, this is one of the great things about being an artist, there is ALWAYS something to learn and explore. I view being an artist like being on a journey . . . the ultimate goal is to be the best I can possibly be, but the journey there is filled with unexpected little side trips and this is what makes it so much fun!
