Mr.Olander has been painting nationally and internationally for over 50 years. He is in the permanent collections of two museums.Formerly with WALLY FINDLAY GALLERIES NYC, Chicago and FL. He has painted numerous portrait commissions as listed on his resume and is collected worldwide in prestigious collections. His landscapes are more impressionistic while his still life and portraits are of the realist genre. He has studied with Dick Goetz, David Lefell and Nelson Shanks and also attended the Art Students League in NYC for a few years. He is a former CHAIR OF THE ART COMMITEE AT THE SALMAGUNDI ART CLUB and MUSEUM NYC. Hailed as a MODERN MASTER in the ads for the Findlay Galleries in the NY Times . Mr Olander now resides in Latham,NYand continues his career and quest to always improve his technique and composition.
