David Syers

David Syers is a Fine Artist, Graphic Designer and Photographer.

In Fine Art, he divides his time between photography, pen & ink illustrations, gourd pyrography, some silversmithing, and leather-working. In Graphic Design, he specializes in end-to-end branding and corporate identity solutions - from logo design to billboards - his design expertise includes advertising, logo design, business cards, websites, brochures, newsletters, and direct-mail marketing, collateral materials, and large-format promotional graphics. In the world of Photography, David has specialized in stunningly beautiful photographs of horses, nature, and scenic environments that evoke emotion and speak to the heart.

With a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art, with a minor in Education, David has been called a 'Renaissance Man' for he reads upwards to 55+ books per year while dividing his time between graphic design, fine art, technology pursuits, and his personal life involving horses, dogs, hunting, and fishing. Over his career's history, he has been a State Park Nursery Worker, Grocery Store Stocker, School Bus Driver, Prison Guard, County Investigator, Private Detective, Graphic Designer, Art Director, Novel Network Administrator, Network Engineering Director, Senior IT Project Manager, and last but not least, a Freelance Artist. Having worked on both Mac and PC, he is proficient in many layout, design, and photo manipulation programs and he continues to learn and experiment with all kinds of technology. His domestic partner and he own, care for, and ride horses, breed their Friesian Stallion, assist in delivering new foals, and work with them through imprinting and care. He is a proficient Archer with both recurve and compound bows and a Marksman with both rifle and pistol.

David has made a life long habit of continually searching, learning, reading, and experiencing as much as he can of life... he strongly believes that 'it is the collective result of the continual renewal of one's physical and intellectual vigor in order to experience and learn, that serves to enable one's personal creativity to soar without limit or end'.

Disabled now, David spends much of his time in fine art pursuits, while living on a small horse farm in Berks County, PA with his beloved Valerie, their five horses, two dogs, and two cats...he never fails to find that creative spark and sizzle in life!
