As a child, I was small... Let's try again... I was a kid with a camera who liked to chase fire engines. That's better! As a small child, fire engines fascinated me. I guess it was natural that when I started shooting pictures at about 15 or 16 I wanted to photograph accidents and fires and try to sell the pictures to newspapers.
