Dean Bertoncelj was born in 1968 in Zagreb, Croatia, where he graduated from Applied Arts School, Photography Section. His career started in 1990 with ST magazine where he worked as a war photographer. Three years later he joins Arena magazine and soon after that changes to Gloria magazine.
