Dreams really do come true! StarrStruck Gallery & Studio, located in Clear Lake Shores, Texas is now a reality for artist, Debi Starr. Debi, a native Houstonian, has been creating art her whole life. She graduated from The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts before heading to the windy city to attend The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She holds a BFA as well as her Teaching Certificate in Art Education and she has successfully built her reputation as an artist and a private art teacher.
Debi Starr’s original paintings grace the walls of homes and businesses in the United States as well as across the pond. Her murals and decorative finishes can be found throughout the greater Houston area and her prints are available online to all. She has been featured in many local art shows, exhibits, juried shows, solo shows, local artists’ groups and organizations and donates art yearly to many charity auctions, including Young Texans Against Cancer.
Debi teaches art to both children and adults and finds inspiration while inspiring others. Creating art, whether it is a multi media piece, figurative, floral, or even a pet portrait, keeps Debi’s passion alive.
Debi Starr loves paint! She uses it all: oil, acrylic, watercolor and ink. Her art is constantly evolving and reflects her mood at the moment. Her latest works with their vibrant colors evoke her newfound exuberance and zest for life. She stands by this quote,

StarrStruck Gallery, in the middle of the up and coming Town Center, is the ideal place to create and display her artwork as well as share her creativity. The huge windows provide plenty of natural light and the portable walls that Debi designed allow flexibility to the space. The Gallery hosts other Local Artists’ Art and Receptions, offers Classes and Workshops, Live Painting Events, Ladies’ Nights’ Out, Couples Painting, Sidewalk Saturdays, Painting Parties and Wine and Art Evenings.
