Deborah first became serious about photography in school, while taking a course in the study of black and white film photography; it was there that she began developing her craft. However, Deborah says that her fascination with photography goes back a little farther than that. She believes that she inherited her love for photography from her grandfather –who was quite a photographer. Her interest in photography began when she was about seven years old. Her first shots were taken with a “kiddie camera”. Her first “real camera” (a 35mm Minolta) came from her grandfather. These days, Deborah is still just as eager to search out and capture amazing scenes and breathtaking views as she was when she was seven years old.
