My name is Debra Blades, and I am a 'FINE ART' GOLD LEAF, ABSTRACT Artist. I live in Abbotsford British Columbia Canada, otherwise know as 'Beautiful B.C.'. I have been involved in art of some sort, as far back as I can remember. I have tried it all, but when I discovered mixed media collage, using Gold, Silver & Copper leaf last year, I felt like I was home. I also use imported & exotic hand made papers from around the world, as well as ones I make myself. These works are so unique that when the paint is burnished over the metals, they have an 'INNER' glow, and when the lights hit them, well that's when they really take on a new personality. Most of the paintings also have an irridescent glow, because of my choice of paints. I am also available for commission works, to have something just exactly right for your home, or office. These works are truly One-Of-A-Kind.
