Dee Flouton

As an Artist specializing in digital photo painting and computer generated art my emphasis is on texture, color, and form as found in natural surroundings. I photograph anything that peaks my interest. My original photos are used as points of departure to create fresh images that take on new imagery and added dimension. What begins as a photograph may terminate as an impressionistic or abstract image, transformed through various digital painting processes.


Inspiration is found all around me in natural surroundings, and in photos which have been shelved for some time. I am often 'hit' with an idea to 'create' something with a new and different twist, taking the image to another level. I create for my own sanity and peace of mind, but if something in my portfolio reaches out and touches you, and satisfies your intellect and curiosity, then I have fulfilled my creative mission.
