I am a Fine Artist, Graphic Designer and Illustrator that lives and works in beautiful Santa Cruz, California.
I have done many works on canvas and wood as well as works on paper and am currently illustrating one of a series of books for children about my cat Moss. These books are designed to show children how to treat and raise their pets responsibly.
I also design logos of animals for tee shirts and prints to be sold as donations for the Santa Cruz SPCA and their endeavor to build a new shelter.
I am currently in the pre-production stages of creating shows for Santa Cruz Community TV from my book 'Little Life Lessons (for ages nine to ninety-five)' in which the topics of the book are discussed by older people and kids to show the juxtaposition of knowledge. There are forty different richly illustrated subjects that were originally written for Home Schooling. Some of the topics in the book are: Patience, Forgiveness, Smiling, Past and Future, Gratitude, and Becoming Calm to name just a few. These shows will be available to help parents show subject matter to their children that is not taught in conventional curriculums. They will also be broadcast on Community TV starting sometime next fall.
I am interested in networking with other artists interested in helping the Santa Cruz SPCA shelter endeavor by donating prints for sale at an upcoming auction to be organized for sometime next year. Any artists interested in becoming part of this important event can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am also looking for people versed in event planning and fund-raising. Thank you so much for your consideration.
