As an artist, I strive to view things in this world through a different light. My perspective , is your enjoyment. My background in art is self taught. My mother is my biggest influence, as she is an artist too. I have painted, created, drawn,and sculpted all my life. My passion is the paint. My commissioned works hang all over Texas, Colorado,Washington and California. I have sold many pieces, and I have found a new desire for assemblage, which can be view on my personal website, www.dp-art-gallery.com. These pieces are original and one of a kind. Made of recycled and found items. A great interest in these creations have causes me to create more. Several have sold in the last year. Photography is another creative outlet for me. My travels lead me to interesting places and with the camera I can instantly capture the feeling with out my paint in hand.
My work has been shown in 'Gallery nights' in Deep Ellum of Dallas, Fort Worth Arts Goggle ( Art Festival ), the 'City Arts Festival' in Dallas,'Cedars West Art Festival' in Dallas,'Art Hunger' in Grapevine Texas,'Whitmore Art Studio' in Fort Worth, Texas, and F6 Art shows periodically in Arlington, Texas. 2013 Looks like a busy year with 'Pancakes and Booze Art Show' the largest traveling underground art show in the country, Deep Ellum Arts Festival and Art Hash Show in Fort Worth. All this before May.
