Fine art - Art which is an end in itself and which is a personal expression of the artist who creates it. Paintings of nature, landscape and still-life, galleries for your viewing. Originals are oil on stretched canvas, other mediums are also available. Series 'Celebrating the Smoky Mountains' and coastal scenes are available on this site.

A full-time working artist for many years, teaching workshops and in a private school. Have worked in several mediums and favor the medium that my hands are in control of at the moment. Love the spontaneity of watercolor and that was the medium of choice for several years.
The oils displayed on this site, are recent works. I tend to switch mediums simply to render a different nuance in the expression of my work.


Several photography galleries are available. Most of the photography has not been altered and is offered in a natural setting. Hope you enjoy looking. Digital paintings, photography of floral, bovine, industrial structures, southern landscape and etc.
